Carpenters In The Forehead/  A Time For Going

All things come to pass.  Life changes, and off you go.

The time has come to head back to the country and paint my mailbox blue.  It’s been a long, strange journey, but the Carpenters hammering around in the disjointed attic of my Forehead have come to the realization that now is the time for finding other life-experiences to savor. 

Appindie has been a hoot, and while mostly it has felt like words blowing in the cyberspace wind, the concept is commendable, albeit one that has struggled to take hold.  Nonetheless, I have to admit that it has been a fantastic experience being part of the endeavor to have a local internet newspaper foster a “dialogue of democracy.”  I consider myself very fortunate to have come into the lives of those who have contributed to the Appalachian Independent.

Have no fear, I will still be sounding off, quietly in my mind, after doffing my Guy Noir-wannabe hat.  But now my audience will be my woodpile and Buddha, our Labrador Retriever who doubles as a great listener.
