Liza Featherstone, a journalist based in New York City, will visit Frostburg State University to discuss her work on social justice activism, gender and the workplace, as well as politics and consumerism, the theme of a forthcoming book, on Tuesday, March 23 and Wednesday, March 24 in room 218 Dunkle Hall. The FSU-TV3 production LEAD-TV will also feature an interactive interview with Featherstone on Tuesday, from 7 to 8 PM that will invite audience members to ask her questions about activism, politics, journalism and issues impacting students, such as the affordability of higher education. The event is free and open to the public.
