Frostburg State University junior Stephanie Laut will perform her mezzo-soprano junior recital on Sunday, March 28, at 4 PM in the Performing Arts Center’s Pealer Recital Hall. Laut will be accompanied by pianist Judith Brown. This event is free and open to the public.
Laut will perform several pieces written by composers Antonio Vivaldi, George Frideric Handel, Robert Schumann, Georges Bizet, and Samuel Barber.
Laut is a vocal performance major with a minor in Spanish. She hopes to become a performer, professional conductor or a choral and theatre instructor. She is a member of Delta Omicron, Phi Eta Sigma, FSU University Chorale, and the FSU Theatre Department. Laut expects to complete her degree in May 2011. She is the daughter Deborah Imes of Chopticon, Md.
