On July 15, Concord Hospitality will be opening the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Cumberland at Canal Place. They are currently in the process of selecting artwork appropriate for the property. They would like to customize the lobby art to highlight the rich history of Cumberland and the surrounding areas. In addition to showcasing the City's history, they are also interested in locally produced artwork in order to give the hotel an identity unique to its geographical location and to feature current art by Cumberland's own artists. The design concept of the hotel's brand has very bright colors and is an energetic atmosphere. The goal is to showcase the city of Cumberland without being too literal. They are seeking a mix of photography, paintings, and wall sculptures, and are very open to unique, "out of the box" ideas. Interested artists can contact Amy Laport Gant

Why don't you frame and hang some Abu Ghraib torture photos?
