Front & Centre Stage Announces Disney's Cinderella

Innocent Creators Performs Third Annual Children's Show

Front & Centre Stage is please to present it's third annual Innocent Creators children's production, Walt Disney's Cinderella.  The show will be held July 10- 12 at Windsor Hall in downtown Cumberland.  Evening shows begin at 7:00 pm and the Sunday matinee begins at 2:00 pm.

The timeless fairy tale meets the magic of Disney in this adaptation of the treasured animated film. Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the Royal Ball. With a little help from her mice friends, and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella goes to the ball, meets the Prince, and falls in love! With a beautiful score including "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and the classic "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," this musical will charm its way into your heart, and remind you that dreams really can come true.

Innocent Creators was established by Front & Centre to introduce children to the performing arts and providing an outlet for younger performers to showcase their talents. The group is designed for children ages 5-17 and is committed to aiding in the growth of the area's youth in both the performance and technical aspects of the theatre.

The show highlights the talents of  Victoria Mann as Cinderella and Nick Cummings as Prince Charming.  They are accompanied by 25 talented children from the tri-state area.  Becky Bostaph returns for her third year as the director of the production and Nicole Frost is serving her second stint as choreographer.

"Becky and Nicole make a great team," says Kimberli Rowley, Front & Centre Stage Artistic Director.  "The work they do with these children is nothing short of amazing and all the kids seem to have a great time."

The show is under one hour long and is ideal for small children as well as entertaining for adults.  Tickets are available by calling 301-697-7183.
