An open house to discuss Allegany County’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Allegany County Office Building, 701 Kelly Road – Room 100, Cumberland. Citizens, stakeholders, and all interested individuals are warmly invited to attend this event.

The process to develop this plan is under the direction of the County’s transportation planning staff. These individuals and a representative from the consultant, Thrasher Engineering, Inc., Oakland, will be present. The open house will begin with a brief introduction. This is a citizen input opportunity - the purpose is to receive input from the general public regarding bicycle paths and pedestrian walkways throughout Allegany County. Three hours have been allotted to receive input.
